My favourite food is sushi, my favourite drink is any cocktail tried for the first time.
So I am combining my two loves for today’s invention. I am inventing a bar with a sushi style conveyor belt.
Friends will sit at tables or on bar stools and help themselves as the drinks whizz round. No more waiting to be served, lots of interesting choices, the glasses of wine could even come with tasting notes on little cards. Of course the drinks would be in colour coded glasses, and payment at the end of the night would be based on counting them up.
3 orange, 2 blue, 4 pink…
And that would be the colours of the cocktails if I were enjoying a sushi-style drinking night out.
